EPA is finalizing a limited approval and limited disapproval of revisions to the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD or the District) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP) under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act). This action was proposed in the Federal Register on February 23, 2010 and concerns local rules that regulate coarse particulate matter (PM 10) emissions from sources of fugitive dust such as construction sites, unpaved roads, and disturbed soils in open and agricultural areas in Imperial County.
